Lakeland Machinists opened its doors in 1988 as a small general machine shop, with limited fabrication abilities employing only four skilled trades and one bookkeeper. Lakeland expanded its expertise and enlisted new millwrighting and electrical departments to keep up with the growing demand. Industrial growth drove Lakeland to bring a unique business model to fruition, which grew Lakeland beyond its existing services and capabilities. This created our true multi-trade solution which provides our customers with a new industry milestone known as “Turn-Key Installations”.
