AWARDS

On Friday, February 22nd, 2012, the Town of Cobourg and the Northumberland Central Chamber of Commerce presented the 2012 Business Achievement Awards. The Awards are for businesses located within the Town of Cobourg and the Townships of Hamilton and Alnwick/Haldimand in the following categories: Agribusiness, Communications and Technology, Health and Wellness, Hospitality and Tourism, Professional and Consulting Services, Manufacturing, Retail, Skilled Trades, New Start Up.

 Lakeland Multi-trade was awarded the Skilled Trades Business of the year Award in 2012.

In 2008, the Town of Cobourg and the Northumberland Central Chamber of Commerce presented the 2008 Business Achievement Awards. The Awards are for businesses located within the Town of Cobourg and the Townships of Hamilton and Alnwick/Haldimand in the following categories: Agribusiness, Communications and Technology, Health and Wellness, Hospitality and Tourism, Professional and Consulting Services, Manufacturing, Retail, Skilled Trades, New Start Up.

 Lakeland Multi-trade was awarded the Manufacturing Business of the year Award in 2008.

In 2005, the Town of Cobourg and the Northumberland Central Chamber of Commerce presented the 2005 Business Achievement Awards. The Awards are for businesses located within the Town of Cobourg and the Townships of Hamilton and Alnwick/Haldimand in the following categories: Agribusiness, Communications and Technology, Health and Wellness, Hospitality and Tourism, Professional and Consulting Services, Manufacturing, Retail, Skilled Trades, New Start Up.

Lakeland Multi-trade was awarded the Manufacturing Business of the year Award in 2005.

Lakeland Multi-trade’s president, Shane Jarvis, was awarded this for supporting the apprenticeship program through Lakeland Multi-trade. Over the years Lakeland Multi-trade has assisted many apprentices build their careers through its wide range of trades.

In 2005, Lakeland Multi-trade received a plaque from St Mary’s Secondary School in Cobourg, recognizing its contribution to the Coop work placement program for High School students.

 Every year, Lakeland Multi-trade takes one or two High School students for a portion of 4-5 months. Over these few months the student is immersed in the workplace, giving them valuable experiences to help them in the future.
